BRANDING IN COPENHAGEN
Bær is a conceptual grocery store I designed & branded for a graphic design course in Copenhagen. Bær offers clean grocery options with minimal ingredients and sustainable packaging. Created as an option for those who are dairy-free, but not vegan, as we don’t have many options.
One of my favorite project deliverables entailed creating a canned or jarred food item. As you can see, I chose to design jam containers to go along with the cohesive theme of the brand, since “bær” is the Danish word for berries.
Catering mainly to students & those post-grad who are on a budget but still have dietary restrictions and/or want to eat clean, Bær features fun packaging design and overall branding to appeal to both— and anyone else who’s interested, of course.
Playing with lighthearted shapes and fonts, calming swirls and rounded edges and wavy lines, fun and bright colors, and overall aesthetics for a fun, stress-free grocery shopping experience! Possibly a seating area for a social option too. Designed mainly for college towns & cities.
In Scandinavia, everything is approached and designed in such a sustainable, way that we have not yet applied in America. Eating clean fits perfectly in with a sustainable and clean environment; Bær would fit right in with the Danish culture.
