Suite 303
creative direction, graphic design, & brand identity
INITIAL VISION BOARDING + AESTHETIC IDEATION USING PHOTOS I TOOK IN THE SPACE. FOCUS ON ENCOMPASSING ART, CULTURE, AND COMMUNITY (KEY FACTORS OF BRAND)
OVERVIEW
Graphic design and creative direction for April Barton’s celebrity salon in downtown NYC. Suite 303 is a hybrid salon and art gallery for artists and like-minded creatives to thrive. The space thrives on community, culture, and art, and every aspect of branding is meant to radiate the same feeling. When designing for Suite 303 I focus on brand cohesion and identity in everything, carrying the vibrant and confident feeling you get within the space to radiate when viewing it through a screen as well.
DESIGN DETAILS
My tasks at Suite 303 encompass both digital and physical design. Below is a collective list and visual gallery of some of my favorite work I’ve done for April.

This Fall marks the salon’s 30th anniversary and HarperCollins picking up April’s debut memoir, See You in The Morning. Both milestones have been a main focus in my work for the salon, as well as a top-secret product we are developing that will change the hair game… stay tuned for more behind the scenes on that including mockups, sketches, and a strong focus on sustainable materiality while maintaining April’s aesthetic vision.
